Run Britain Day 60: From Loughor to Ferryside

Today I managed to complete 33km of running before getting my feet wet - a real win! And it was flat. And sunny. Which I loved.

I really am in rural Wales now and ran through just one village with somewhere to stop to eat. Kidwelly is a funny place and the tearoom/cafe/diner/someone’s living room where I stopped for a jacket potato provided me with excellent entertainment. The three ladies with their two bottles of wine (which they had brought in themselves) were having a very loud conversation about impotence and seemed completely oblivious to the fact that everyone else in the room could hear them.

Watching the sun set over the sea was a lovely treat, but I pushed on for another hour to complete a 50km day and get ahead of what is supposed to be a really bleak patch of weather.
