Run Britain Day 36: From St Austell to just short of Falmouth
I’ve said from the beginning that Run Britain has been made so special thanks to the people and today it was definitely the company that made it.
The rain and the wind were ruining the view, the mud was making the deep coastal steps even harder to navigate and my road shoes were very much unsuited to the terrain (trail shoes are incoming). But sharing the miles with Sarah, who is a brilliant trail runner and wonderful person, made today one of my favourite so far.
I retreated to the road in the afternoon, which was significantly less slippery, but no less hilly.
