Run Britain Days 92 and 93: Completing the west coast of England
We started day 92 with a Park Run - the first since I set off from Sizewell 15 weeks ago.
Ryan ran with me for the whole morning, which was quite a tough one because it’s so flat in this section of Cumbria (when it’s flat, the running is faster).
It is very exciting to be running with a view of Scotland, knowing that I will be there in just a few days time. And even more exciting to find a lovely spot for lunch with the biggest hot chocolate any of us had ever seen.
The afternoon was a lot less fun and a lot more road-y, but Ryan also managed a whole day. And we were given a free final night in our lovely Airbnb, thanks to more generous Cumbrian hospitality.
I was sad to see Beth and Ryan leave on Sunday, it’s been such a lovely weekend. And the road running into Carlisle was pretty grim. But my day was brightened up by Amanda who popped out to say hello just as I was approaching the city.
A short day meant I was finished by about 2pm, and by 3pm I was asleep!
