Run Britain Days 21 - 22: From Worthing to Portsmouth (via Chichester)

It has felt good to be making progress again. For the last two days I have tried to stick to a disciplined regime of walking, resting and walking again.

I’ve been joined by some friends along the way which has helped break up the monotony slightly. But walking a marathon (or almost a marathon) is a long and difficult task. I’m tired just from being on my feet and from being out all day.

And I have also discovered that simply being outside for 8 hours doesn’t cut it as a therapy tool. I am craving running again, but I know I shouldn’t be moving faster because I still have such a long way to go.

It’s not easy though and Sussex has turned out to be a much harder county than I expected it to be.
