Run Britain Day 29: Seaton to Exmouth

Today I battled almost 3000ft of total elevation. And it’s not elevation like going up a mountain to the peak, it’s hundred and hundreds of steps. Up to the cliff top and then down to the beach, again and again and again.

I tend to find Saturday’s the hardest of the week. I think it is probably something to do with the relentlessness of it all. There’s just no respite, no time to regroup, relax or reflect. And today did feel like a particularly tough one, despite an improvement in the weather.

I’m well and truly into Devon which is definitely a milestone. But it’s been brutal and I know there is so much more brutal left to come.
